@DillonB073Did some web design for a college brand site earlier, still very wip
@jdogcoder1Mini Ship! 🚢
Using N8N workflows, auto triggered by my car driving focus (auto triggered by my car bluetooth), when I start driving, my slack status now reflects that! (i considered tying in gps, that might be going a bit too far tho /s )
EDIT/UPDATE: I am also syncing my do not disturb, and other focus mode settings to here!

Didn't have enough time to record a video update today, but I'm working on getting some code working for finding the intersection point of lines. Also, I just got my pins from first robotics worlds that one of my coaches drove back with the robot.
@DillonB073Did more work on the logo! Might tweak it a bit, but pretty happy with this!

New day, new video!
@cupcakes7+Trying to find an electret microphone for my project! 🎤
@Element-XP0I made my first electronic without a tutorial!
@LuceHeinrich0Early development version of a dungeon crawler I’m making with some friends, all running in p5.js via electron@pragyarajfb130Went to the lake nearby!! Back to hackclub after a long gap
@awdev0I finally made physics go brrrrrr woot woot
@awdev0Got some basic collision working finally. If you look closely, the bounces downhill go further than the bounces uphill. The little red sticks coming off each face are the normal vectors.

Today is my last day in Houston. Today my robotics team (and many others) visited the Johnson space center. We got to see a space shuttle mock up and also the old mission control center which is over the new one. Overall, I had quite the time in Houston and look forwards to returning some day for robotics or rockets. Tomorrow should be back to normal updates, where I hope to improve my blot pathing planner.
@cupcakes7+Made idli(rice cakes) and rediscovered kitty cookie cutters, so here we are :kitty-awe:
@AriMastor05 months into this project and it's finally finished! This is a gadget geocache for my local maker space. Custom PCB (funded by Onboard) interfaced with an Arduino for controlling LEDs in the eyes, giving instructions on how to solve the puzzle through the speaker, checking the password entered, and controlling a solenoid to open the hatch on the bottom when the puzzle is solved. Hand crank on the side turns a geared stepper motor to charge supercapacitors that provide enough power to last a few minutes so nobody has to worry about charging or replacing batteries. The whole thing is covered in epoxy for weatherproofing. Hopefully, it will be up and running in a week or so!
@awdev0I found out how to calculate the normal vector of a line and wrote my own algorithm to normalize it within (-1, 1). It may not be amazing or look great, but it's the small victories that count. Next step: getting this to work with a physics system.
@Charlie0needed a 32px version of the sprig fella for a thing, so i drew one :-)
@HenHen0It was hard for sure, but at the end of the day, we made a really fun project!
@AlwaysBusy0Just arrived and came out so gooooooddd!!!

Today apparently Mark Rober was at the competition, some of my fellow team mates saw him. I played a game for a free box of their new line of build boxes & won one for free. As I was walking around the venue got to see their life size version. I found this one a bit odd, but the CIA was there recruiting. Also, I got loads of ribbons for my name tag, unfortunately I only started today and if I had started yesterday I probably would have gotten a lot more.
@awdev0Soldered two of my motors to the ESC. Did a test with battery, and it works amazingly! I got the du-du-du sound! Now to wait for the ESP32 (yes that's my FCU) and props to arrive.
@DillonB073made a super simple website for the beta boba drops fund
very different style to what i normally do, but i’m pretty happy with it. it’s simple but it works well i think
@ThomasStubblefield0last night at near midnight eastern I received a message from the legend himself, @sike saying he would love some help on the design for the waitlist of his VR feedback suit.
I got inspo from this poster at the cafe across from HQ & the Hack Club Mac sticker & badoom after a bit of collaboration this is what @sike & I made :)
@sam0How to never miss another slack notification…
@Tom1Haven't posted anything in here in a while, so here's an update on my OS. It's 32-bit and mostly written in C. I can read/write to the disk, have a filesystem (no directories yet) and have some built-in tests! Also just looks somewhat better

Today I am taking a bit of a different approach to scrapbooking. I recorded a quick video project update. Hope you enjoy!@phaedra0performed a solo at a beautiful museum ^_^ choir concert day!
@karmanyaahm0Chessbot motion system fully integrated and dragging pieces on Tuesday@DillonB073Got NextCloud setup on my pi!
@ManitejBoorgu-U04QD71QWS00It's been a while since I've done my #scrapbook, but that's likely because #hack-hour is a lot superior (I'm kidding! or am I?) - I'm working on a massive overhaul running on my new bestie Prisma :prisma: - stay tuned!
